Global XRS Interior Refurbishment
Jet Karma is managing a complete interior refurbishment of a Bombardier Global XRS on behalf of the aircraft owner, covering exterior paint, custom cabin refurbishment and flight deck cabin management system upgrades. This project profile outlines the scope of work and Jet Karma’s role as owner’s representative; full outcomes and photography will be added once the project reaches acceptance.
Project Scope
- Exterior paint refurbishment
- Complete custom cabin refurbishment with new upholstery
- One-off headliner with starlight illumination and scintillation effect
- Custom-built side ledges
- Modified lighting and Venue cabin management system installation
- Flight deck cabin management system upgrades
Why This Project Requires Careful Oversight
A full custom refurbishment like this one involves multiple specialist vendors working in sequence: paint, upholstery, custom fabrication for the headliner and side ledges, and cabin management system integration. One-off elements such as a starlight-effect headliner carry longer lead times and less schedule margin for error than off-the-shelf finishes, so Jet Karma is coordinating vendor sequencing and inspecting work at each milestone rather than waiting until the end of the project to catch issues.
Jet Karma’s Role
As the owner’s representative, Jet Karma is coordinating the completion center and specialist vendors, tracking cost and schedule against the contracted scope, and reviewing invoices before payment. This follows the same oversight structure Jet Karma applies to refurbishment project management generally, described in full on the Private Jet Owner Representation page.
Project Status
This project is in progress. Jet Karma will update this profile with technical detail, issues identified and resolved during oversight, quality and cost outcomes, and project photography once the aircraft reaches final acceptance.
