Global 7500 Floorplan Change & Starlink Installation
Jet Karma is managing a floorplan change and connectivity upgrade on a Bombardier Global 7500 on behalf of the aircraft owner. This project profile outlines the scope of work and Jet Karma’s role as owner’s representative; full outcomes and photography will be added once the project reaches acceptance.
Project Scope
- Installation of a second divan
- Crew rest area modification
- Starlink connectivity installation
- Certification coordination for the floorplan and connectivity changes
Why This Project Requires Careful Oversight
Floorplan changes on the Global 7500, such as adding or relocating a divan or modifying the crew rest area, require engineering and certification coordination with the completion center. They are not simple furniture swaps. Starlink installation carries its own certification requirements. Combining both in a single project means schedule and cost discipline matter even more, which is why Jet Karma is tracking both work streams against the original contracted scope rather than allowing them to run independently.
Jet Karma’s Role
As the owner’s representative, Jet Karma is coordinating the completion center and vendors, tracking cost and schedule against the contracted scope, and reviewing invoices before payment. This follows the same oversight structure Jet Karma applies to refurbishment project management generally, described in full on the Private Jet Owner Representation page.
Project Status
This project is in progress. Jet Karma will update this profile with technical and certification detail, issues identified and resolved during oversight, quality and cost outcomes, and project photography once the aircraft reaches final acceptance.
