Challenger 604 Refurbishment & Starlink Installation

Jet Karma is managing a refurbishment and connectivity upgrade on a Bombardier Challenger 604 on behalf of the aircraft owner, covering exterior paint, passenger seat and cabin refurbishment, and Starlink installation. This project profile outlines the scope of work and Jet Karma’s role as owner’s representative; full outcomes and photography will be added once the project reaches acceptance.

Project Scope

Why This Project Requires Careful Oversight

Combining exterior paint, cabin refurbishment and connectivity work on the same project means several vendors and work streams have to be sequenced correctly. Custom seat covers, such as the Townsend leather with quilted Aeristo inserts on this project, involve fabrication lead times that can affect the overall schedule if not tracked closely, and Starlink installation carries its own certification requirements. Jet Karma is coordinating these work streams against the contracted scope so that paint, cabin and connectivity work do not create schedule or cost surprises for the owner.

Jet Karma’s Role

As the owner’s representative, Jet Karma is coordinating the completion center and vendors, tracking cost and schedule against the contracted scope, and reviewing invoices before payment. This follows the same oversight structure Jet Karma applies to refurbishment project management generally, described in full on the Private Jet Owner Representation page.

Project Status

This project is in progress. Jet Karma will update this profile with technical detail, issues identified and resolved during oversight, quality and cost outcomes, and project photography once the aircraft reaches final acceptance.
